Tim Cook and Apple fell in love with Israel

A couple weeks ago Tim Cook, CEO of the popular brand symbolized with an apple, was visiting Israel to launch the new head quarters in Herzliya. A beautiful love story in between the Silicon Valley’s guru and the StartUp Nation. Share this moment before the new Iphone’s revealed.

With more than 600 employees and no store in the entire country, Apple Israel is truly one of a kind in the entire world.

It all started in 2012, when Apple bought out Anobit. Israel became the only country in the world, outside of the US, that sheltered research and development centers, working on new generations of iPhone, iPad and other products.

After Ra’anana and Haifa, Apple just opened new offices in Herzliya. These offices that are sales and marketing oriented reinforce the label of the Start Up Nation stigma.

There is one question left, the one that tickles lingers in the mind: “When will we have the first official Apple Store in Israel?” There’s already one in Ben Gurion’s airport, so it’s only a matter of time before there will be one i one of the country’s cities. We hope to have a follow up from Apple on this question.
