At the side of Shalom Meir Tower, in a glass and steel frame that overlooks Ahuzat Bayit Street, the new Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) sits, from it emanating a London-esque vibe.

#DidYouKnow? ► In 1935 the English–Palestinian Bank. that became the Leumi Bank later on, inaugurated the precursor of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) now lists more than 622 companies and has a leading price index that is the TA-25.

This new high tech and eco-friendly building welcomes anyone who wants to take a peek. Visitors can access the lobby, the cafeteria and the brand new museum dedicated to the TASE’s history.

By the way, the uniquely-designed entrance gives access to the building to both visitors and brokers, a symbol that everybody accesses it the exact same way.

The Minister of Finance, Yair Lapid, inaugurated the building last September.
