What a big hit! Tel Aviv sur Seine excited the crowds of Paris yesterday, where more than 11000 visitors came to live a one-of-a-kind Tel Avivi experience. Matkot, fine sand and Israeli songs in this dynamic atmosphere seduced the Parisians and tourists that came to taste the thrills of the Non Stop City. Here is a throw back, hours after hours, of this summer hit.

10H00 | TEL AVIV SUR SEINE OPENS

Lawn chairs, matkot and a food truck are set up just as a beach of the White City. Besides a negligible two-degree difference, everything is similar.

11H00 | “TAC – TOC – TAC – TOC…”

The first rallies are going on, on the river banks along with nice tranquil music that takes you right away to Israel.

 
12H00 | THE ATMOSPHERE 

An Israeli hit song is exactly what it takes to motivate hundreds of people that are all ready on the starting to celebrate this friendship between Paris and Tel Aviv. It’s dancing and singing time!

It doesn’t stop, Hundreds of Parisians and tourists are standing in line to get in this little part of Tel Aviv, right in the middle of Paris.

Arno Klarsfeld, French-Israeli famous lawyer and partisan of the event, came in front of the media, and toured around the city; only for a couple of minutes, though.

Omer Adam’s hit song is the anthem of this exceptional day. Thousands of visitors are part of this party where French and Israeli flags waver in the wind proudly.

On Gordon Beach, hundreds of Parisians, on vacation in the White City, came spontaneously to party together to honor Eiffel’s home with well know French tunes. The two cities of lights are in a perfect synchronization full of high emotions.

Nothing can stop the oft-called the Non Stop City. The fine rain that starts to fall on Paris just in time to cool off the thousands of participants at the beach party. Don’t you know that Israelis, rain, sleet or snow will party on?

The Tel Aviv sur Seine wave is over and Paris City Hall can announce it officially: more than 11000 participants came to celebrate together this moment of inter-urban bonding and friendship between Tel Aviv and Paris. Congratulations to Lionel Choukroun and all the people who made it possible to export the energy of the White City to Paris, the beautiful. How about another round next year?
