Hi there! TLV Fashion week has officially started and we are more than excited! The fashion shows are taking place in the biggest mall in Israel (to be) – Gindi Fashion Mall. The building is still under reconstruction, but there are red carpets everywhere and so much going on that you barely notice all the mess. So, after attending three first shows how do I sum up the mood – a lot of potential and still a lot of work to do!

Let’s start with the first show by Maskit – smart casual – a lot of basic and simple pieces in beige, white and black, which every women should have in her wardrobe. There were few more interesting designs – maxi dresses with printed patterns. In a  few words – Maskit’s girl is romantic, eye catching, but not to provocative. Got 6 out of 10.

Alembika – a true heaven for bohemian girl with its maxi skirts and oversized dresses. All the items look very cozy and comfortable – something you would love to wear during cold days of autumn. A lot of brown, red and green – all the 70’s colors that are so “in” this season. Got 7 out of 10.

Bet-Ka was the most interesting and intriguing show so far (we only started!). Designed for a sophisticated and elegant woman that loves to “play” with her outfit and is not afraid of being in the spotlight. Amazing fabrics, massive shoulders and thin waists create very special and recognizable silhouettes and I love it! 8 out of 10!
