When thinking of Tel Aviv, Fashion is usually not the first thing we think about, well maybe we should. In the suburbs of the White City, the Shenkar College is well known for train the best Israeli designers. Some designers you probably know, that are now, worldwide famous.

Shenkar College, dedicated to design and art, was founded in 1970 in the suburb of Tel Aviv. Founded to be an educational motivation for the Israeli industry, this university is named after Aryeh Shenkar, first president of the Israeli Manufacturers’ union.


Fashionista Magazine ranked Shankar College, 15 on the list of Top 50 Fashion Schools in the world. And this ranking didn’t come up by accident. Students from Shenkar are hired all over the world by the most famous designers. For exemple, Albert Elbaz used to be a student of the Shenkar  College, were he developped his talent that changed Lanvin Paris for ever.
