[UPDATE 12.08.2016] – It is the saddest news of the summer. Beyonce, who was supposed to perform on the 26th and 27th of October in Tel Aviv, just cancelled her concerts. Yedioth Aharonot confirmed the news this morning, adding that the singer also canceled her shows in Dubai and in South Africa, which made it clear that it had nothing to do with BDS. The press conference that was supposed to be held this upcoming Tuesday in Tel Aviv was cancelled too and we didn’t here about any new concert scheduled for the moment.
[UPDATE 15.06.16] – In February, Queen B announced her upcoming plans to perform in Tel Aviv in August. The announcement on her website was only online for a few minutes. Since, Tel Avivians have been anxiously awaiting the finalized date of her concert. Today, one of the most famous Israeli newspapers published the date for her concert. Beyonce is expected to come on October 26th!
This is THE news that Israel has been waiting for for a couple years: Queen B, Beyonce, the queen of American pop music, or any name you want to call her, it doesn’t change the purpose, just announced her very first concert in Tel Aviv this summer. The date is set and the place is confirmed. Here is all the info about the biggest show of the century.
Just after her amazing performance at the Super Bowl, Beyonce announced the dates of her Formation World Tour that will take her all over the world starting this upcoming April. For her concert in Tel Aviv, she decided to take over the Hayarkon Park on August 3rd for a unique concert in front of more than 40,000 fans from all over the country.
Over the past few years, false rumors about concerts in Israel circulated. Unfortunately, these led to disappointment and irritation for the Israeli fans that felt that the Queen forgot about them. In just a few months, Beyonce will be able to make it up to her Israeli fans and prove that she did not forget about them.
