Art is like a construction site

Does the term “unstructured art” ring any bells? With his enormous piece of artwork, situated on top of the Helena Rubinstein Museum, artist Shai Ratner created some noise.

Hundreds of residents called the police to complain about a construction site about to fall off the roof. That’s precisely how Ratner’s plan to communicate his image worked perfectly for the “Workplace” Exhibit. The artist deals with manual labor, industry and family owned-companies, crucial parts of the economy that are all disappearing, according to him.

#‎TheBest: The “Workplace” Exhibit will be free of charge during the Loving Art Making Art Festival that is taking place from May 29 to May 31.
