Can you hear the ancient sound of the ram’s horn coming up like it does every year around this period? It’s in the heart of Tel Aviv, in a small factory, that two families, an ashkenazi one and a sefardi, came together as one to create Shofars, respecting the pure new year’s tradition.

One of the oldest factories of Shofars in Israel sits in Tel Aviv, created a century ago by a Moroccan-Polish duo. Just by being in the very presence of this tiny workshop, hidden behind the Shuk Levinsky, you can feel the year-opening, holiday sensation between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippour.

This factory is not very known but it is a big spiritual contribution brought by Tel Aviv to modern Israel.
