A couple weeks ago the Bakery, the one and only, the best of the Non Stop City, offered us to visit its kitchens, they knew we couldn’t refuse it. This famous place sells breads, pastries and patisseries like pieces of art that stole our heart. The real french savoir-faire in the heart of Tel Aviv, what else? Here are the secrets we discovered while visiting their backstage!

1. More than 300 different products are made in their professional kitchens located in the district of Yad Harutzim.

2. It’s exactly here, on this table that any new creation is designed and developed for all of the Bakeries.

3. Any bread that you’ve been eating in one of the restaurants of the group R2M (Brasserie, Montefiore, Coffee Bar and Delicatessen) are baked here.

4. Some of their unique creation are only available on certain moments of the year. For exemple the Macaron Josephine (vanilla, raspberry, litchi) is only made and sold during Valentine’s period.

5. In its workshop, the Bakery employs around 15% of handicaped people or people having difficulties (even though the law only asks for 2% for this type of places)

6. It is right here that the famous Cheese cakes of the Coffee Bar (and not only) are baked!

7. Let us introduce you to the Sidamo, the new pastry from the Bakery family. It is made of cacao biscuit, mascarpone cream, coffee, salt and Olive oil (of course!)

8. More than 2000 croissants are produced and sold every day in the different Bakeries of the city.

9. A new Bakery just opened on Dizengoff St. It’s the 5th of the group in Tel Aviv.

10. Every day, one hour before the closing time, the different Bakeries of Tel Aviv offer an Happy Hour menu where their bread, pastries and some of their patisseries are on a buy one get one free discount, what else?
